General description
This Freedom 35 is a keel centreboard sailing yacht (1.07 - 2.07 meters.) with steering wheel, to be hoisted, lowered and sailed entirely from the cockpit (behind the steering position). The yacht runs beautifully, fast and is ideal for dry-docking partly due to her strong construction with the mudflat supports. The cabin is spacious with, among other things, recent Webasto hot air heating and recent boiler (hot and cold running water). 5/6 berths (2x fore cabin, 2x aft cabin, 1,5x saloon), cosy saloon with lots of storage space and spacious toilet. Winter cover (2009) to use with standing mast. The yacht has received a complete osmosis treatment in 2006. Further much renewed since 2019 (see Owners comment on wehmeyer.nl) To view by appointment through Wehmeyer in marina Muiderzand - Almere.

"OWNERS COMMENT" Drawer unit custom made in the place the card table was, very much extra storage space for cards, dishes, food and other items. Is not quite finished yet: I still have the wood for the top (now the old top sits on it). And the wood for the plate to be against the "ceiling"; now there is a cheap sheet of wood there. Was done with the idea of first figuring out where to put the equipment (VHF, AIS, navtex, etc), then use the nice wood and not have to make too many holes :-). I also got the wood for the plate under the drawer block, is also 'cheap' wood now, was done then because my trip was already starting. Finally, I still have the 'skirting boards' to finish the edges, these are original, as elsewhere in the boat.
Engine, electrics
(new overhaul engine entered '08)
3 leaf-folding propeller
(2x new gel batteries '19)
The stainless steel diesel tank of a new supply hose(2021) and then the tank was also completely cleaned. Since then very clean fuel and no water in the filter. New gas handle à 657,- (2019), new gel batteries + monitor + multiplus inverter + controller à1,896,- (2019), new propeller shaft à 578,-(2020), new engine mounts à 830,- (2023), last engine service and overhaul starter motor à 1,120,- (2023). "OWNERS COMMENT" Solar panel (not mounted or walkable) with wiring to electrical system. Max 40W output when properly placed outside in the sun. Enjoyed it a lot while at anchor, as it supplies exactly the power the refrigerator uses. This makes it possible to be without shore power for a long time, especially when sailing on the engine.
Navigation and electronics
(2020)
(new autopilot controller '20)
"OWNERS COMMENT" Chartplotter: Raymarine a65 with Wifi /Navionics Plus UK and NL -> navigation and screen running outside on a windows laptop. Software is subscription bound though (Stentec) so when selling I belong to reset (or take away) the laptop and then the new owner can use a laptop plus their own chosen software. There is no Raymarine plotter so, screen outside is a "2nd screen" via hdmi cable to laptop inside. Self-steering, AIS and compass are via board network, can now be via wifi and is also wired, linked to laptop.
Rig and sails
upright masts with wishbones (booms)
In 2020 almost all halyards and reefing lines and sheets renewed.
Deck Equipment
1x on bow-roll with fore run as well as a smaller anchor with chain and rope in the bakery box.
(new 2023)
There is a small table to be placed behind the steering wheel, there is also a hole in the wooden grate on the floor. Table and leg are in starboard port locker.
