Safety
Owners comments:
In 2011 we took over the sailing yacht as the third owner. Home port was Friesland but we have sailed on the Dutch and German Wadden Sea and have been to England, Denmark and Sweden. We modified the sailing yacht in 2013 to sail her "single handed" (sailing trip on the Baltic Sea).
The AIS transmitter and receiver NMEA function and GPS via WLAN ensure that there is a very comfortable situation in which your own navigation WLAN is broadcast and all fellow sailors with their smartphones or tablets can constantly use this data in apps such as Navionics. This significantly extends the running time of mobile devices, as you do not have to use your cell phone's own GPS, and in addition, all ships are displayed with their course and speed via AIS (audible and visual collision warning).
Due to the width of the yacht she is stable in the water and has good and sporty sailing characteristics. She has been lovingly cared for and spent the winter almost always inside. The previous owner gave her a preventive osmosis treatment with 7 coats of epoxy.
