General description
Very nice Cornish Yawl 24, built at Cornish-Crabbers Rock, Wadebridge, England, construction number CY43. This Cornish Yawl is a seaworthy and good single-handed sailing boat. The Yawl is a stable yacht that can be sailed close to the wind and can go almost anywhere because of her long keel and electrically operated centerboard (0.91 / 1.52 mtr.). Despite the long keel with centerboard the Yawl is also very well maneuverable on the engine and can turn around her axis. This Cornish has suffered in the sailing area near Giethoorn (only on freshwater) and has been inside a heated shed every winter. The spar / woodwork is very neat and recently put back in many layers of paint. All four sails are new: mainsail (2018), furling jib with UV strip(2018), furling jib with UV strip(2018) and bazaar(2018). All fittings are of heavy stainless steel. There are 5 berths, Webasto heating, pump-toilet, 2 burner spirit stove, AIS receiver, depth gauge(2019).There can be well dry dropped with her wading supports(on the mud flats for example) and partly because of the anchor winch, chain and heavy anchor there can also be well anchored. Antifouling(2019), engine service (end 2018), see www.wehmeyer.nl
