Broom 36

General description

This very nice and well maintained Broom 36 is a populair, quality yacht with perfect sailing skills and performance. The both diesel engines, bowthruster and the perfect balanced hull makes it easy to sail this Broom. The yacht is very luxury because of her; hot-air heating, boiler, 2x electr. toilets, 3x shower, double island berth, lot of storage lockers and places, almost 2m headroom in the yacht, nice and easy stairs all over the boat, teak decks, big swimming platform also easy to enter by a nice stairway. The two st.steel Davids makes it easy to take a dingy / tender boat with you. The boat is lying inside a heated Boathouse and is to be visit at Wehmeyer in Naarden by appointment.

Well maintained Broom 36, built by Broom Boats Ltd, with practical lay-out for six occupants.

Always winter storage in boathouse on-shore and annual maintenance by a recognized water sports and service company.
With 2 x 220 hp turbo diesel engines (Mercruiser D254) cruising at 16 knots and no problem on tidal waters or rivers. The ship is easy to handle with the two engines and bow thruster.

This Broom 36 is further equipped with an automatic trim system, davits, holding tank, 2 electric toilets, 2 showers, heating (Eberspacher), variable speed windshield wiper, teak all over the ship,  shower on bathing platform (hot / cold), bath platform (teak), 50 meter anchor chain Stainless steel, searchlight (electrically operated), intercom, VHF

FORWARD CABIN

Spacious layout with two single berths, storage beneath berths, wardrobe, shelf, mirror, opening portholes and opening hatch.

FORWARD HEAD

With flush electric toilet with sea or holding tank, sink, storage locker, mirror and shower.

GALLEY

3-burner hob with oven & grill, fridge, plenty of storage below and above the worktop, opening porthole, electric extractor fan, water tank gauge.

SALOON

Large U-shaped settee, removable table, weather station, smoke detector, power points, opposite is a large sideboard with provision for a TV.

AFT CABIN

Has an offset double island berth with surround headboard, dressing table with mirror, drawer & cupboard space, ample storage lockers throughout the cabin including a full length wardrobe & shelving.  Large full length mirror, overhead and reading lights, escape hatch.

AFT HEADS

With electric flush Toilet, sink, mirror above the sink, cupboard space and shelving above.  Separate full size shower unit with seating and shower door.

COCKPIT

Helm to starboard, double bench seat with reverse back cushion & storage under, aft bench seat with storage under, opening door way to bath platform, Folding radar arch and good access to side decks.
